When men complain about lack of support it’s because men don’t support each other. A lot of men are constantly talking to women and helping women. When it comes to supporting other men, they’re not willing to do so. Women, on average, won’t support men either because why should they? He’s a man. Why can’t he manage himself?
What happens in the end is that men support women, and women support women. That’s why there are so many men complaining endlessly about having fallen through the cracks. Those aren’t just cracks, they are potholes. Let me give you an example: A man will sit in his car and see a homeless woman. He’d see through the dirt and desperation that she’s a beautiful woman. He’ll help her. He’d visit her. He’d even make her his wife. What did she have? Well, nothing.
Most women don’t even look twice at men who have actual jobs. I see it everyday. The cashier at the till, the guy mopping the floors, the uber driver etc… For entire segments of female society these men are practically invisible. Not only will they never help such men if they needed help, they would consider it entirely beneath them. Aside from simply being helpful, there is little hope that such men will get married. That’s because the homeless woman can actually get a husband. The homeless man can’t get a wife.
The woman who is a cashier at a store, isn’t typically interested in her fellow cashiers on the floor. She doesn’t want someone who is already in her situation. She wants better. The woman who is a school teacher, doesn’t want her colleague who is also a school teacher. Nope, she wants to be with the principal. Yes, hypergamy is a provable phenomena, but it is also the lived experience of many people. In fact, if women must be honest they’ll admit it also. Unfortunately, for most men, it’s not only about relationships, it’s about resources. Frankly, no one takes a broke man seriously- not women, and not other men.
