Marriage is a serious affair. Pun intended. You can’t just marry a woman because you feel you need a wife. You need to vet her fully and properly, both for her sake and your sake, so that hopefully your marriage doesn’t end in divorce. I’ve had women ask me to marry them, and I turned them down. Friends would say, “But she’s beautiful.” I would say, “Ok, you marry her, then.” I’ve seen enough men bored of their beautiful wives to understand that a woman’s beauty alone won’t carry her through a lifetime commitment. Then there’s the woman who would marry you without requiring any money from you.
That’s becoming more and more common as the vast majority of women hit 35 and are still not married, having dedicated their lives to their careers or gotten divorced and now want to share their ex-husband’s spoils with you. So they have money, they just need a man. Not a good idea, guys. Why? You might think, on the surface of it, that it can’t possibly be that bad. She wants companionship, and that’s her right. Of course, it’s her right, but it doesn’t have to be with you.
What these women typically want is a Playboy. She’s not going to accept that you want to act like a husband with authority over his wife. She’s going to tell you that it’s her house, and her money, and if you dare tell her what to do, then you can leave even while she’s carrying your semen inside of her. Let me break it down. You think that maybe it’s a great idea. Why not just marry her? Well, the thing that happens to a lot of men is that they start to feel possessive over the woman they’re sleeping with. Yes, they are going to then feel protective. They’re going to protect their interest in her, and YES, TELL HER WHAT TO DO. That’s a deal breaker for a lot of these women. They want the sex ONLY, and the companionship on occasion, on their terms, when they need it, NOT WHEN YOU NEED IT. CAN YOU HANDLE THAT?
Most men can’t. OF COURSE THERE ARE EXCEPTIONS, BUT THIS ABOVE IS THE RULE. THESE TYPES OF MARRIAGES SELDOM LAST.
